Let's Start at the beginning...

As much as I wish I could say I grew up with a camera in my hand, I can't. Matter of fact, I didn't even take an interest in photo or cinema until 2017 when I graduated college. Even then though, I didn't think it was something I would take all that seriously; instead just a way to get better content for my own Instagram feed.

But I've always loved the power of storytelling - the way a movie can make you cry, how a song can stir a happy memory, or how a piece of writing can take your attention away from the world. Stories have this way of making you feel like you're part of something greater. It's a place we go to escape, feel connected, and share moments.

I've always wanted to be part of that storytelling world, and I did that for a while working in the sports industry. But it wasn't until I took a few gigs as a second wedding shooter with my brother, who is a long-time wedding photo and cinematographer, that I realized how much I loved capturing stories through a camera lens.

When I look at a photo or video clip, I'm always trying to think of the story behind it all. Why was this moment captured? What was the journey that led to this moment? What feeling will someone have when they stumble across this 10, 25, 50 years from now? Will that feeling be relived?

That's what I strive to do for every time I look through the lens. To continue telling my own story, while I help you tell yours. To capture a moment so they can one day be relived as memories.

Also, I think penguins are dope!
